Working Drawings

Here are all the technical drawings and details that I have learned about throughout my two years of studies at BHI. I was taught to pay attention to details and research about different construction methods which would be suitable for different types of materials and structures.

The Brick Veneer House
(June 2019)

ELEVS_edited.jpg

The Brick Veneer House, as the name says it, is a house whose construction is in brick veneer. Being one of my first technical drawings produced, this work was created using AutoCAD. It outlines the basic principles of technical drawings which include floor plans with dimensioning of walls, openings, overalls and heights along with some construction details, namely an edge beam detail, a ridge beam detail, among others. It also includes elevations and sections.

The Warehouse
(June 2020)

The Warehouse is the first commercial work for which I have created technical drawings. This building's structure consists of tilt panels and a steel beam system so that no columns would be needed in the middle of the warehouse for support. This work was created using Revit.
